I just posted some new flickr photos from the past week. Hopefully just a week’s worth won’t be as overwhelming as the last time (3 weeks) with close to 2000 pictures from the 2 classrooms.
If you get a chance post a comment on how you use the photos. Do you just view them? Do you send links to relatives? Do you make prints?
WF (345 photos):http://www.flickr.com/photos/weefriends/sets/72157627665246625/
WWF (159): http://www.flickr.com/photos/weefriends/sets/72157627789209248/
Enjoy!

I download the pictures with Jane in them and upload them to my own Flickr stream (wish Flickr had a way to do that automatically!) so our friends and family can see them. Once a year when I make prints (300 from the 3,000+ I take), I always choose a number of WF pics for our albums, since the WF staff are such great photographers!
I glance through them and if there are really cute ones of Kai, I save them onto my computer and put them up on my snapfish account for future photo books.
We have really loved the photos shared by WWF- I often share the set with grandparents so they can see what Finn is up to… and we use for the same. The pics in sequence are such a great way to get a feel for the activities of the week-often prompting conversations at home (like the blog). Finally- we download the special ones onto the computer to print or use in a book later (all good intentions of course, but ours are piling up!).
Thanks to all WWF family for their photographic efforts- it’s been fanttastic!

I go through the albums and mark the ones I want as a “favorite”. Then I have a batch of favorites and Flickr now has a program that allows you to batch download favorites (a BIG time saver…as I used to have to download the large size individually). Search for FlickrFaves in google to download the program. I have printed out photos in the past, but now just have intentions to make photo books
I look through them and recently went through and picked out the best ones of Marta since she came to Wee Wee and ordered prints. It was quite time consuming, but definitely worth it. Thanks for taking all these lovely pictures of our babies! Pamina
I should say that the blog really helps me update my mother, sister, and mother in law. It’s allowed me to be more lax about emailing them about the kids.
As to the photos, I will admit I was really struggling to keep up with all the photos until Amy told me about the trick of using favorites and then a downloading program. I download the one’s of my kids, group photos, and some of the pretty ones you take and then have put them in an album to print out when I get my next shutterfly discount.
Awesome ideas everyone! Thanks for taking the time to share!!!
