This morning, Nate shared that he saw flowers dancing. It was the rain that made them dance, he said. Arleigh asked if we could put on flower dance music and costumes. Nate became grass, Arleigh was a flower, dirt and a princess walking through a field of flowers. Simon was the root. The purple roots that start standing up and then fall down.
Our sunflowers dried and the squirrels found them! We salvaged a few of the stems that still had seeds and we plucked them out. Kai, Lisa and Ada counted over 500 seeds in groups of 20!
We are getting ready for Sesame Street’s visit! Some friends spent time working on a Welcome to Wee Friends mural.
Cassie went to the bookshelf and found a Sesame Street book for us to read.
We have a new shape matching game that friends explored.
Ada has spent hours at the workbench over these last few days building creation after creation.
And Miss Lea put on FOUR princess dresses!
