Good Afternoon. Hope everyone has had a terrific day!

Emma stood at the bar and looked into the mirror to start off her day. She looked at her reflection above the bar and below! She then went over to another mirror to look at her reflection again. Our friends enjoy looking at themselves in the mirror. Children always laugh when they make funny faces and they’re actually able to see what they look like!

If you’re looking for P.K., you’ll find him on the slide or on the ladder. He loves going up and down the ladder. He has really perfected his balance and coordination this week!

Throughout the week, we’ve become so enthused about the new habitrail and all of the opportunities that have come along with it! Our gross motor has been in high gear all week!

Clara and Eve asked for help to put on their dress up clothes. When both children were ready to take off their pretend clothes, teachers started the process and both were able to finish before putting away their play clothes.

Eren zoomed around the room with a fire truck and school bus while Emma sat between two chairs. She loves being in tight spaces while playing.

Friends Daniel and Emma worked on making food from separate sides of the table. When Emma wanted something, Daniel reached across the table and handed it to her.

We’re working on using our words when we want/need something. It’s much easier for friends to understand each other Smile.

P.K. started structuring different things such as a straight line using blocks. Friends soon migrated toward him and helped him out.

Eve and Clara started building towers. Our persistence was great! When our tower fell down, we just built it even higher!

Emma played peek-a-boo with her hand. She hid her hand in her shirt and then popped it out and said, “Hi!”

Hugs were a common sight today.

Clara showed her teachers how independent she can be. She wanted her boots on so Miss Mindy told her if she could get her boots on that she would tie the laces. Clara loves doing things by herself and for others.

For breakfast, children had corn flakes and apples. AM snack was green peas and kidney beans. Lunch consisted of whole grain rice with kidney beans, banana/oranges, and mixed vegetables.

Have a wonderful evening.
