This morning, Cassie helped Ben write his name on the message board!

We invited friends to listen to Eric Carle’s The Very Clumsy Click Beetle. We studied his illustrations and talked about what a collage is. We decided to create our own click beetle costume and started at the art table with coffee filters and watercolor.

Another group of friends decided to build and play beneath a tent.

Melinda invited friends to join her in a science experiment that explored what happens when you pour pepper into a bowl of water and then, dip a soapy finger into the pepper water.

“It looks like tiny bugs!” is a comment we heard.

“It makes a hole!” and “Mine is all the way down!” were other observations.

Lisa Update: Lisa called yesterday morning and spoke to all our friends. She is pain free, she shared! We miss you!

Wee Sprouts: Sweet peppers. Breakfast: Corn Flakes and pineapple. Lunch: Melted turkey and mozzarella on whole wheat tortillas, peas and applesauce. Snack: Peanuts and raisins.
