Happy Monday!

Thank you so much for adapting to our breakfast schedule. We do “close” the breakfast kitchen at 9am!

After eating breakfast, taking care of babies and playing a round of Mexican Train, we headed outside. Friends settled into their favorite spots to begin their work. We looked around and were reminded of the value that rocks hold in our Wee Friends development. Rocks were involved in almost every work being created.

Rocks made up part of the doodle bug habitat and feeding stick.

These rocks were a part of an explosive devise….and then a cherry pie.

Ice cream and counting to 20.

Rain sticks, measuring and analyzing sound.

Using Friday’s marker and water art exploration, we decorated our rain stick and created more painted coffee filters.

Wee Sprouts: Celery sticks and sweet peppers. Breakfast: Peanut butter toast and bananas. Lunch: Melted ham and cheese on whole wheat tortillas, blueberries and corn. Snack: Rice cakes and grapes.
