Markers, in our Early Childhood learning environment, are sort of like rolls of toilet paper in a home environment: they are necessary for creating (uuhummm) art, and we go through them really fast.
So what to do with the problem of markers that dry out in a week’s time? Tami solved it yesterday.
We will collect “yucky markers” and re-purpose them by creating watercolor. We began the exploration today, scientifically, with a discussion on how the markers create the colored watercolor. We then invited friends to create art with this homemade art material. And so we offer you a glimpse at the Power of Repurposing. And the continued Wee Joy, in learning and creating.
What have YOU repurposed lately?
Happy weekend.
