The Wee Traffic Song
(to the tune of ABC’s)
“Red light, red light, stop, stop, stop.
Green light, green light, go, go, go.
Yellow, light, yellow light, slow the car down.
Yellow light, yellow light, slow the car down.
Red light stop and green light go.
Yellow light, yellow light, slow, slow, slow.”
We are spending time this week identifying common signs and symbols (Literacy FAB K.1.21). We also spent time today talking about patterns. First with foam blocks, then with Do-A-Dots.
“This is my book. About cats and dogs. It has purple dots.” – Eve
A few friends finished their banjos by applying the neck, the bridge and the string.
The swimmers reported great fun this morning. We heard “My toes touched the bottom of the pool!”, “I got my head wet!” and “I jumped in three times!”.
Hope you are having a great day. –Laurie
