Our fabulous Mel turns 29 today. And WEE love to celebrate birthdays!
We kept busy on this rainy day. We studied a new library collection of safari books. We painted and worked on the crocodile. That activity morphed into creating (“sticking the guts back in”)paper fish. We cleaned, gutted, seasoned and grilled a Pompano fishy. Many of our friends loved the grilled fish and gobbled it down. We read a book about giraffes which led us to measuring our own necks, and then the croc’s neck. We played a game in which we tried to use our human necks to reach down far enough and pick up fruit. A few friends built a picnic table out of big wooden blocks.
Mel has been teaching at Wee Friends for seven years. Times that by 9 and you’ll get her special number. We love Mel 6×9 +infinity +forever+around the universe three times.
