Good Afternoon!

Hope everyone is enjoying the last day of September!

It was a kitchen and baby doll kind of morning. Saskia propped her baby doll up in her high chair where she proceeded to feed her baby food. Rosemary took a spoon and stirred her food in her bowl. Friends use procedures and techniques that they see in the real world and use it in their play. Children are always observing their surroundings.

We sure did have to bundle up this morning as we headed outside. Friends kept commenting on how cold the sand was!

The sun finally started to peak out. Lucy and Maya walked around the yard to look at the different flowers. They really seemed to like the purple flowers that line the fence.

Tate laid on the floor and talked to Anna after lunch time. She sure thought it was funny . It’s amazing to see how the multi-age grouping plays out on a day to day basis. Our older friends love taking care of our little ones.

For breakfast, children had chex and apples. Lunch consisted of hummus on tortillas, strawberries, and broccoli. PM snack was string cheese and whole wheat bunny crackers.
