Happy Monday!

Hope everyone had a terrific weekend.

Our morning started off with music time! The blue tubes were used a lot as well as shakers and scarves. Friends love to watch the different items in the tubes fall from one side to the other!

Children were given the choice to do shaving cream this morning. We have different tolerance levels when it comes to sensory play. However we choose to interact with the specific sensorial experience, we’re all learning at our own pace.

We continued our sensorial vibe as we headed outside. Maya worked with the sand. She loves taking the sand and rubbing it between her hands. Nahla took a hand full of rocks and moved them to different parts of the log house.

Nahla and Saskia did a great job at raking up the backyard. The older Wee Friends were raking the leaves into a pile and then throwing them up in the air. We thought that was quite funny Smile. Our tree in the backyard is sure losing its leaves rather quickly!

For breakfast, children had whole wheat bagels with butter and apples. Lunch consisted of whole grain noodles with chicken, mixed vegetables, and apple slices. PM snack was yogurt and apples.
