Happy Wednesday!

Today, we wished Miss Jessica a very Happy Birthday! We love getting to see her during naptime!

Maya, Lucy, and Nahla got bundled up and went off on a walk around the neighborhood. We heard dogs. We saw birds, squirrels, and leaves. Lucy motioned to Miss Mindy that she wanted a leaf.

That prompted our leaf exploration as we continued our walk. Maya, Lucy, and Nahla were each given a leaf. As we walked, we talked about the color of each leaf and compared the sizes. Maya quickly found out that it’s very easy to rip a leaf. Lucy took her leaf and ripped it up until there was nothing left! Of course once our leaf was all gone, we got another .

We saw construction trucks that are working on the roads. Friends noticed how loud they were! As we walked back to WWF, we heard a train passing by so we stopped to watch that as well.

Once we got back, it was off to the rocks!

The backyard is full of leaves! Such a beautiful site!

It was all smiles today during nap time.

For breakfast, children had whole wheat bagels with butter and banana. Lunch consisted of whole grain tortillas with no-nut butter (made with golden peas), mixed vegetables, and banana. PM snack was thin rice cakes with hummus.
