“To travel, hopefully, is a better thing than to arrive.” – Robert Louis Stevenson.
It’s an idea we carry with us in an emergent curriculum classroom. When we hear an “I can’t!” we make it our job (on most days!) to focus on traveling the road to understanding how we can. Origami, puzzles, scissor work, dressing dollies, Velcro-ing shoes, using kind words and gentle touches, building blocks, Magna Tiles and Trios-these were the things we traveled with this morning. There are lots of processes to explore before we get to our destination! Have a great day. –Laurie
