Although we had to stay inside on this cold and dreary day, the atmosphere inside of Wee Friends was warm and bright! Throughout the day friends were engaged in a variety of activities.

Friends gathered around the light table to sort jewels and objects by color, size and shape.

More jewels were sorted and friends played a long game of house.

Elliott used his morning time to stack the colored counters. He used every single counter in the box and discovered there were lots of red counters, but only a few purple ones.

Other Wee Friends built unique creations with the wood and plastic blocks.

We also had a dance party, complete with ribbon streamers!

And yes, we already started listening to Christmas music. Friends’ request.

Wee Sprouts: Carrots. Breakfast: Corn Chex and fresh pears. Lunch: Whole grain brown rice with turkey, cucumbers/carrots and grapes. Snack: Pumpkin seeds and wheat crackers.
