Happy Friday!

**We are TENTATIVELY planning to have a water day on Monday. It’s supposed to be pretty warm but if we do it in the morning, we SHOULD be okay. Please have a suit here for your child on Monday!

 

In large group, we read the story, “The Ugly Duckling”. After we read the story, the words ‘theme’ and ‘moral’ were discussed. Here’s a few comments that were mentioned:

“I learned that you should be nice to everyone.”

“Don’t judge a book by it’s cover.”—(This was discussed and talked about IN DEPTH!)

“I felt bad for the little duckling.”

Here are a few pictures from our day.

Breakfast– Rice cakes with no nut butter and pears.

Lunch– A mixture of hummus sandwiches and turkey/cheese sandwiches, oranges/pears, and carrots.

PM snack– String cheese and raisins.

Wee Sprouts– Carrots.

We had a terrific Friday. Hope you did as well.
