Good Afternoon!

We were all so excited when David walked in the door this morning. He had been out of the country for a couple of months. The bonds that he had with his friends were rekindled right away like he had never been gone .

In large group, we continued our author study by reading ‘Score One for the Sloths’ written by Helen Lester. Helen Lester writes the Tacky books but also has stories that revolve around other characters. During journal time, we used our kid spelling to describe the drawings that we completed.

The music rug was full of magnatiles this morning as several creations appeared, mostly revolving around castles and forts!

Jackson and Max worked together at the work bench this morning creating two different structures that they later painted with water colors.

Breakfast– Whole grain oatmeal with honey and PPC peaches.

Lunch– Egg salad on whole wheat bread, PPC pears and banana, and cherry tomatoes.

PM snack– Air popped popcorn with butter and PPC strawberries.

Wee Sprout– Fresh green beans.
