Good Afternoon!

Anna requested the unifix cubes this morning after breakfast. Anna and Lucy each took a unifix tray and filled it up using a variety of colorful cubes.

Maddie and Lulu used the trays to create a pattern by sorting colors. Lulu solved a problem aloud: “I need nine yellow cubes and I already have seven. So, that means I need two more yellow cubes!”

Various friends used the pattern books too! A pattern was started and it was our job to finish it.

When the swimmers were off perfecting their back strokes, Miss Rebekah made zucchini muffins with everyone else! We used a rather large zucchini that we picked from the garden—the muffins were a big hit!

Emma brought in mussels that she found near Detroit over the weekend! Miss Melinda pulled out the computer to research mussels with our friends. Emma’s mom sanitized the mussels so we were able to use our sense of touch to explore the mussels.
