Happy Monday!
**Just a reminder, Wee Friends will be closed on Friday for conferences! We are looking forward to meeting with all of our families!
In pre-k/k group, we read ‘Duck for President’. Throughout the story, we identified the specific parts that make up a book: the setting, characters, and events. After we read the story, we talked about each of these things and together, we created a list of characters and events and identified the setting.
K.RL.2.3: Identify important elements of the text (e.g., characters, settings, or events).
Maddie explored the welcome activity where she took the initiative to match equal numbers together. She made a creation of dominos by finding matches and linking them together.
K.NS.7: Identify whether the number of objects in one group is greater than, less than, or equal to the number of objects in another group.
The rest of our morning was full of art table creations, magnatile buildings, and gross motor play in the habitrail.
