This morning, in the classroom, friends created art using alphabet letters.

They gravitated to housekeeping and spent time there as well.

Our farmers were so happy to be back on their farm. They spent the morning visiting the animals, cleaning out the bird houses (and jumping off the stool!), exploring the pond, picking dandelions, imagining life in the log cabin and the house of roots, swinging on a rope, and finally, gently holding a baby chick.

Good times.

Wee Sprouts: Cucumbers. Breakfast: Cheerios and oranges. Lunch: Whole wheat sandwiches with turkey and cheese, corn and bananas. Snack: Peanut butter and graham crackers.

Thursday is the regular farm day and next Thursday, 5/9, we will take Group B: Jane, Arleigh, Elizabeth, Marta, Sloane, Marina and Eleanor. Have a great day.
