Marina called her mom on a Magna-Tile flip phone to see if her baby had come yet. Ellie and Sloane also made calls out.

The rain forced us indoors. We gathered in the reading area to read a book about how weather works. When we turned to the page about electricity in lightening, we created an experiment: Which traveled faster-Macy on foot or light, from the light switch to the bulb? One friend maintained that a bullet train definitely travels faster then the speed of light. We will follow this notion and see where it takes us.
