Macy Wolfe Little was 7 months old when she became a Wee Friend. Today she is 5 and 3/4, and it’s time to say goodbye. She will start kindergarten at Northpoint Elementary School in a couple weeks. Today marks 7 1/2 years that the Little Family has been a part of the Wee Friends family. Both Macy’s sisters, Sydney (9) and Taylor (8) were Wee Friends. How do we say goodbye?! Well, the sendoff began yesterday by the Little’s having the Kona Ice truck visit Wee Friends! THANK YOU so much!
How do we say goodbye? Let’s not! We will say “We love you, Macy Wolfe Little! Thank you for the gifts you have shared with Wee Friends: Your giggles, your leadership, your initiative and thoughtful observations! You are a lovely girl and we can’t wait for you to come back and visit us, sharing stories of your new friends and new school-and the school bus! We know you are excited about riding the school bus.” That’s what we’ll say. No goodbyes, just big hugs and kisses.
Fly away Little Lady! YOU CAN DO IT! And come back to us soon.
