Hello!

It was a kitchen and housekeeping kind of morning. Everyone gathered in the kitchen where they shared items to make us breakfast. Maya took an orange and put it into a bowl and mixed it up! We made sure that everyone had a kitchen toy so that anyone who wanted to participate had the chance! It’s a wonderful site to see friends choosing what they want to do. It allows us to understand what they’re interested in so that they can be invested in the learning that takes place through their own play.

Friends have been showing so much emotion lately during their play. We’re always so gentle with our babies. We give them hugs and kisses which translates into how we should treat a real baby! All of our friends love saying hi to Anna and giving her gentle hugs. Maya gave Anna multiple ‘leg’ hugs this afternoon.

As we headed outside this morning, our friends were happy to see that Rosemary had woken up from her nap to join us!

Rosemary started her time outside time off by a little sensory experience. She began pulling at the grass. Once it got on her hands, she noticed it was wet. She loved the sensorial experience so much that she put some grass on her baby doll so that her baby doll could try .

The outside sure does wonders for our friends. Anna could not have been happier just laying on the blanket, looking up at the sky. She was ALL smiles .

For breakfast, children had eggs and raisins. Lunch consisted of ham and cream cheese rollups, PPC plums, and a big, juicy tomato. PM snack was strawberries and yogurt/soy butter dip.
