Good Afternoon!
Right after breakfast was served, Maya asked for ‘Doe-A-Deer’ (Do-Re-Mi from The Sound of Music). This has been her favorite song lately! Friends moved their bodies to the music while using rings and scarves.
Tate and Lucy put many rings over their heads. When they took each ring off, we talked about the certain color of that ring. Lucy saw a specific ring and shouted, “Yellow!”
Children transitioned from music time to working with waffle blocks. We had a couple friends connecting the blocks together to make a tower! Maya enjoyed showing Anna how to connect the blocks together. Multi-age at its finest
.
It was an absolutely beautiful morning. We congregated in the sandbox to start.
Friends quickly moved throughout the yard dabbling in bikes, log house play, and the teeter totters.
For breakfast, children had chex and peaches (YUM!). Lunch consisted of hummus tortillas, corn, and cantaloupe. PM snack was cheddar block cheese and banana.
Have a terrific night!
