Happy Friday!

**Today, we send home potty duck to our first friend. We will be choosing friends by random draw and our first friend up is…Rosemary! She will take potty duck home for the weekend and share with us on Monday what they did together! Potty duck has a special bag so parents, please make sure that potty duck is returned on Monday . Thank you!

Tate brought in a potato that he found in his pantry. We gathered around the art table so Tate could tell us his story. It had started growing something on the side of it so we found a jar for it.

We placed it in the science area in a jar full of water. Friends will observe it daily and see if the appearance of the potato changes at all.

Throughout the week, children have been investigating magnets in our sensory bin. Before lunch, Miss Melinda gathered our friends in the reading area to talk about the magnets that we’ve been exploring. Each child took a magnet and searched throughout the house to see if the magnet stuck to anything. We found that it stuck to the sink fixture, the front door, and the legs of the chairs!

Breakfast– Rice cakes with cream cheese and grapes.

Lunch– Grilled cheese, banana/grapes, and a mixture of veggies (tomatoes/green beans/carrots)

PM snack– Banana and cheddar block cheese.

Wee Sprout– Green beans.
