Good Afternoon. I hope you are enjoying your day.

We are all in the Christmas spirit in the Wee Wee Classroom. Today we decorated Christmas trees. We found out very quickly that this activity is not only a fine motor activity but a sensory activity as well. We used glue, colorful sequins, and red scrunchie paper. When we painted the glue onto our trees and then placed our sequins and scrunchie paper onto the tree, we found that our hands and fingers were full of glue as well. Some friends didn’t mind having glue on their fingers but some didn’t care for it all and decided to be all done. You can find our tree’s hanging in the classroom.
Since it was too cold to head outside today, we decided to get active in another way! Miss Rebekah brought out the ever so popular and fun trampoline. We jumped by ourselves, with a teacher holding our hands, and we even jumped with a friend, all while listening to Christmas music.
Breakfast: Whole grain oatmeal with honey and banana.
Lunch: Scrambled eggs with shredded cheese, whole wheat buttered toast, corn, and grapes.
Snack: Whole wheat Ritz crackers and hummus.
Wee Sprouts: Corn.
I hope you all have a wonderful evening!
Marty
