Good Afternoon!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ROWAN!

We celebrated Rowan turning four years old today! We are so glad that she had a great day and that we were able to celebrate her birthday with her!

In K/PREK1, we continued to dive into calendars and why we use them. Afterwards, we had a quick conversation about clocks and what they’re used for. Tomorrow in group, we will get to explore a play clock and what the various things are that make up a clock!

In PREK2, children listened to the story, ‘Room on the Broom’ and afterwards, they put into order what animal came next in the story!

There was so much going on this morning! Activities were scattered throughout the environment that attracted friends. From playdough to Halloween manipulatives to gross motor play in the habitrail area—we had a full morning!

Breakfast– Corn chex and fresh pears.

Lunch– Refried beans and melted shredded cheese on whole wheat tortilla, fresh oranges/pears, and fresh carrots.

PM snack– Homemade pumpkin bread (thanks Rowan + family!) and fresh apples.

Wee Sprout– Fresh carrots.
