Happy Friday and last day of September.
Today is a bittersweet day for 2 reasons. We say goodbye to our friend, Emma as they are moving to a new state. We have so enjoyed having Emma for a little over a year in the Wee wee classroom, watching her grow and flourish in her development. We will miss you all and hope you keep in touch with us.
We also say, ‘ see you across the bridge’ in the Pre-school classroom as one of our friends is moving up. We will miss having you in our classroom, but know we will still get to see you outside everyday.
Today we were busy building with the big wood blocks. We lined them up and pushed them together to sit or stand on them.
We also stood at the windows on the habi-trail to watch our grass being mowed. When we couldn’t see him anymore, we moved to the window on the reading step to watch him do the side yard.
We then all gathered in the front area to build and play with the trains and train tracks with Miss Tina.
We then headed outside to ride bikes, work on our balance skills on the balance beam, ride the teeter totter and scoop and fill containers with our shovel in the sandbox. Dax and Emma enjoyed doing their activity with their siblings.
Breakfast: Whole grain brown rice cakes with cream cheese/peanut butter (kid’s choice) and bananas.
Lunch: Hummus on whole grain wheat bread, watermelon and corn.
Afternoon Snack: Pretzels and Mozzarella cheese stick.
Wee Sprouts: Red bell peppers.
Have a great weekend!
