Good Afternoon!
Everyone has been feasting on yellow snow peas from the garden! The pea plants started producing this week and have been giving us copious amounts of sweet little yellow pea pods which Wee Friends just can’t get enough of! As we were all eating peas in the garden Bo noticed a strange object in the garden bed. We found that it was the shell of a bean that had sluffed off of the new bean leaves as they emerged. Everyone was interested in looking at the new growing bean plants and searching for more shells after that. What a delicious and nutritious garden learning day!
Katherine was very into her imaginative birthday this morning. She carefully sliced pieces and put them onto plates for her friends and teachers. She showed us all how we could best “pretend” to eat the cake. She said she was pretending all the teachers were turning three, but that was because it was “just pretend”.
