Good Afternoon!
Arthur and Ryan were talking about how to use tape in the art center this morning. I told them about a way to make a painting using tape and they were immediately interested in learning how to do this!. They enjoyed putting large pieces of tape all over their paper. Both wanted to use yellow, orange and white to paint with. Once they were done we pulled up the tape to reveal the image it had created. Both boys found this delightful! They were not the only ones. Several others were interested in trying this, so I imagine there will be more tape paintings to come!
We explored a natural loose parts activity made up of acorns, sticks, seed pods and pinecones inviting Wee Friends to count, sort, identify or imagine
