Happy Friday!

This morning we were busy with a variety of activities.  We engaged with the babies and bottles in the cube, built with our artwork cylinder blocks, crawled while making a silly face, watching a block slide down a wooden ramp and engaged with a teddy bear with a friend.

We then headed to the kitchen to paint with red, blue and yellow tempera paint with a paint brush.  Miss Bekah mentioned the book Mouse Paint that we love and how we were mixing the colors like the mouse does in the book.  We filled our papers full of colors.

While we were outside enjoying the sunshine, we got to see a big construction machine that was working to smooth out the bumps in the alley.  We also enjoyed going down the slides and riding the teeter totter with a friend and engaging with a spoon in the housekeeping area.

Breakfast:  Whole grain brown rice cakes with cream cheese and fresh cantaloupe.

Lunch:  Ham/Turkey lunch meat, fresh cantaloupe, fresh mini sweet bell peppers and whole grain wheat bread.

Afternoon Snack:  Goldfish crackers and mozzarella cheese stick.
