Good Afternoon!

We kicked off our day by completing PREK1 sign in where we talked about three different types of nouns: person, place, or thing. Each child took a card from the bottom of the sign in board and we read the word aloud. They had to determine to which group their noun belonged!

K.W.6.1a: Nouns/Pronouns—Writing sentences that include singular and/or plural nouns (e.g. dog/dogs, cat/cats).

PREK2:  We read the story “Monsters Love School” during group today.  After the story, we came up to the board for a word sorting activity.  We determined if our word card began with a “C” or “B” and then placed our word in the correct category.   

Breakfast– Overnight oatmeal with cinnamon and fresh grapes.

Lunch– Farm fresh scrambled eggs with whole wheat tortilla, fresh cantaloupe/strawberries, and fresh snap peas/cucumber.

PM snack– Trail mix with raisins/pumpkin seeds/sunflower seeds/granola

Wee Sprout– Fresh cucumber/pepper.
