Good Afternoon!
We began our morning climbing on the habi-trail and sliding down the slide.
We then made a walking path with the liquid squares for us to walk through and watch the liquid move as we stood on the square.
We then headed into the kitchen for another sensory activity with the dyed spaghetti. We added water to the tuff tray with the spaghetti this time. We also added small plates, a small container, a measuring cup and the tongs to the tuff tray. Many friends used their hands to feel the slimy texture with their hands by picking it up or using the tongs or measuring cup to scoop it up and pour a big pile of spaghetti onto our plates.
Even though it was quite humid, it didn’t slow us down outside. We worked on our balance skills on the balance beams, cooked with mulch in the play kitchen, drove cars, and observed the dirt on our hands.
Breakfast: Whole grain wheat bread toasted with butter and cinnamon/sugar mixture and fresh peach slices.
Lunch: Whole grain penne pasta with shredded chicken, fresh carrot chips and watermelon slices.
Afternoon Snack: Whole milk yogurt and fresh cantaloupe.
Wee Sprout: Cucumber.
