Good Afternoon!
Our friends started their morning by engaging with silk scarves and using them to dance along to “Shake Your Sillies Out.” After everyone was done dancing, a friend then worked on stacking the scarves on top of one another.
We then headed into the kitchen to explore our light table. The table was full of translucent sensory beads that our friends used their hands or plastic egg halves to scoop up the mixture.
We made our way outside to engage with two different water play activities and paint with brushes and watercolors at the easel.
Breakfast: Whole grain Cheerios and fresh strawberries.
Lunch: Whole grain wheat tortilla with peanut butter, 1/2 cheddar cheese slice, quartered red grapes and cucumber slices.
Afternoon Snack: Whole grain cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese and fresh nectarines.
Wee Sprout: Orange bell pepper.
