Happy Friday! 

We wrapped up our week talking about authors and illustrators and how they work together. I took an illustration out of the story for our PREK1 sign in, ‘I Don’t Want To Take A Bath!’. We read the book later on in group. Throughout the story, Little Tiger visited several animal friends to try to get away from taking a bath. Throughout his adventure, he gets even more dirty! We talked about how each illustration matches the authors words. Once we understood this, we looked at the illustration to see if we could see what the authors words might say!

Breakfast: Brown rice cakes with cream cheese and fresh pineapple.

Lunch: Homemade chicken avocado on whole wheat bread, fresh cantaloupe/grapes/apples, and fresh peppers/green beans.

PM Snack: Pretzels and cheddar block cheese.

Wee Sprouts: Fresh cucumbers/bell peppers.
