We are flying into our weekend chasing butterflies. A perfect way to end this week spent observing nature’s amazing and miraculous…..bugs……and the miraculous and amazing Wee Friends who have invested hours of study. This week we created habitats for doodle bugs, a fly, a cricket, an earthworm, an ant and today….a few species of butterflies found on our butterfly bush outside.

Before the butterfly expedition, friends spent time be-jeweling homemade crowns, building pirate ships, reading Bob the Dog (and exploring letter sounds and recognition) and digging in the sand.

Wee Sprouts: WF cucumbers. Breakfast: Peanut butter toast and apple slices. Lunch: Homemade mac-n-cheese, salad with ranch and oranges. Snack: Cottage cheese and pretzels.
