Today we welcome 3 year old Owen to Wee Friends! We are so glad you are with us!

Lisa came to Wee Friends today with a butterfly habitat that stands 3’ tall! Rich, having heard all about how friends were collecting live specimens, built it for us! Thank you, Rich!

We stayed outside all morning chasing butterflies and doodle bugs. We watched more babies being born. We read books under the shade of our tree. Using sidewalk chalk, we created art, numbers and letters. The Boss of the Garden led a harvesting of tomatoes, zucchini, potatoes and (our first) carrots. Marina, Sloane and Leo took care of their babies. We welcomed a new friend and started talking to “old” friends about new schools. This Friday, we say goodbye to Ada and a week from today, Arleigh.

Breakfast: Whole wheat PB toast and bananas. Lunch: Brown rice with turkey, fruit salad with cantaloupe, strawberries and blueberries and a WF garden kale salad with Ranch. Snack: Yogurt and blueberries.
