Good afternoon! Question of the day… Are we in the Winter season or Spring??   We thought Spring, but I guess not. Looking outside sure tells a different story.  Let’s all hope for some more Spring weather soon.

Today we were working hard on stacking the numbered birthday cake per the request of a friend. This activity enhances our hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, color and number recognition. We even sang Happy Birthday to each of our friends! It was a festive morning.

Early literacy is a great way to expand our cognitive skills and learn so many other things along the way! Today while Miss Marty was reading, friends were picking many books that had animals and the sounds they make incorporated into the story. We had a great time mimicking the sounds that all the different animals make.

 

Breakfast: Whole grain Kix and oranges.

Lunch: Eggs with shredded cheese, whole wheat buttered toast, mixed vegetables and banana.

Snack: Whole wheat crackers with hummus and string cheese.

Wee Sprouts: Mixed Vegetables.
