Happy Wednesday!
“Children love to be alone, because alone is where they know themselves, and where they dream.” ~Roger Rosenblatt
Please Note: Wee Friends classrooms will be closed for the upcoming summer break from June 25th to July 5th. We will re-open on July 8th.
When we have infants in the classroom, we always love to watch them grow and develop into awesome little people that achieve so many wonderful and exciting milestones!
Well, today Miss Nesta achieved a very BIG milestone… She figured out how to climb up the habi-trail slide and get herself all the way to the top. Just look at that happy face when she conquered her goal.
Daniel and Evie showed interest in the rhythm sticks today and asked if we could also listen to music. So what better way to get our musical senses in motion?? We listen to Hap Palmers… Tap your sticks.
We all had a fabulous time listening to Hap’s words telling us where to place our sticks. We were learning how to follow directions given to us, all while having fun! What’s better than that?!?!?
Breakfast: Whole grain oatmeal with honey and fresh honeydew, strawberries and cantaloupe.
Lunch: Farm fresh scrambled eggs with Colby Jack shredded cheese, carrots and banana.
Snack: Whole wheat Ritz crackers with cream cheese.
Wee Sprouts: Carrots.
Have an awesome night.
Marty
