“Between the pages of a book is a wonderful place to be.”
What a wonderful day for homemade popsicles! We had fresh strawberries to use up so we used them, along with a few bananas, to make our very own popsicles! Several friends gathered at the island where they helped pour the ingredients into the blender.
Children are continuing to explore the new outdoor spaces, thriving and engaged all morning long. Two of our favorite spaces are:
- the gross motor area where children can challenge their body by walking on the balance beams, jumping from one cement block to the next, or arranging the wooden loose parts to make an obstacle course.
- art table! Several materials were added to give us options: chalk, stencils, markers, glue, and foam pieces help us create unique art pieces.
Breakfast– Chex and banana.
Lunch– Brown rice with shredded turkey, fresh cantaloupe, and fresh cucumber/pepper.
PM snack– Homemade strawberry/banana popsicles and
Wee Sprout– Fresh peppers/cucumber.
Have a wonderful evening!
-Mindy
