Happy Monday!

We came in today to find a few changes in the environment. Several children tested out the new pillows in the reading area along with the new reading light that offers a comfortable place to read.

Adding new items and toys into the environment always promotes interest and excitement as well as curiosity! Something as simple as new storage containers for our puzzles raises questions and ignites conversations.

Life is always changing. It’s complex. Children deserve the same out of their classroom.

I was at a conference over the weekend and one of the many things I took away was a short, simple quote from one of the presenters, Amelia Gambetti (Reggio Emilia teacher of 25 years) and she said, “Life is complex. Children deserve that in their classroom.”

Breakfast– Whole wheat bagel with butter and fresh strawberries.

Lunch– Whole wheat pasta with marinara sauce and shredded cheese, fresh banana/apples, and fresh peppers.

PM snack– Homemade banana bread and whole milk yogurt.

Wee Sprout– Fresh pepper.
