Happy Monday!
This morning Caroline and Ellie were pretending to be a doctor and a patient. Caroline was the doctor and pretended to listen to Ellie’s ears, check her back, her throat, and her belly. She even checked her knee reflexes as she pretended to “thump” her knee.
Imaginative play tends to begin around the age of 18 to 24 months. Children will begin to act out everyday actions they see their parents and others do.
We managed to get outside this morning despite the heat and humidity! We all had VERY sweaty heads, but had a great time.
Breakfast: Whole wheat toast with butter and cinnamon and oranges.
Lunch: Whole wheat noodles with butter and shredded chicken, carrots and apples.
Snack: Whole milk yogurt and granola.
Wee Sprouts: Cucumbers.
Have a great evening.
Marty
