Good Afternoon!
Our ability to explore various activities for a longer period of time was very evident this morning as friends chose or asked for a certain activity and explored or extended that activity until we went outside.
Franklin chose to build a train track and this lasted the entire morning! A few friends helped here and there but he built the majority of it, having to move different pieces around because they weren’t working the way he was envisioning.
A few card games were going on at the island: Go Fish is a favorite of ours lately!
While we definitely ran off some energy once we got outside, we were also able to soak up with vitamin D and fresh air to help us calm our bodies. There have been a few children who have shown interest in yoga and different yoga poses. We tried a few poses outside to practice our breathing and balance!
Breakfast– Corn Chex and fresh pears.
Lunch– Brown rice with shredded chicken and cheese, fresh oranges/apples, and fresh green beans.
PM snack– Whole wheat crackers with peanut butters and raisins.
Wee Sprout– Fresh green beans.
