Good Afternoon. I hope you all had an enjoyable Labor Day weekend.
Yesterday was our friend Nesta’s second birthday! We want to wish our oldest in the classroom a VERY Happy Birthday!
With Fall quickly approaching us, we swapped out the rice sensory bin with a fun and festive corn, black bean and corn cob sensory bin.
The children had a blast using their fine motor skills to pick the small kernels of corn off the cob. They also utilized their hand-eye coordination skills by scooping and pouring the mixture into small cups.
Breakfast: Whole grain Chex cereal with oranges.
Lunch: Whole wheat/grain flatbread with refried beans and shredded mozzarella cheese, fresh green beans and watermelon.
Snack: Whole wheat bagels with cream cheese.
Wee Sprouts: Fresh green beans.
