Good Afternoon!
**With a shortened week due to Thanksgiving, we will have a pajama day on Wednesday!
We decided to dive into a new chapter book this week in K group with one three days until Thanksgiving! Today, we started reading, ‘Freckle Juice’ written by Judy Blume. After we read through two chapters, we examined our arms to see if there were any visible freckles. Friends took it upon themselves to check out each other’s faces to see if there were any freckles there! ![]()
In PREK2, children worked together to come up with a list of how they could be a productive member of a group or family.
It was a morning full of intricate building!
Franklin and Sophia worked together to create a notch block tower using a design board. They tried their hardest to build their tower the way the tower appeared in the design picture.
Mack and Evie built their own creations using the magnatiles. The magnatile towers were detailed and if a magnatile fell over, they picked up their pieces and tried to rebuild it—such determination!
“There are many little ways to enlarge your child’s word. Love of books is the best of all.”
