Good Afternoon!

Children took their turn signing in this morning. They were all excited to add their favorite animal to the drawing. A few animals that were drawn included a bear, a tiger, an eel, and a hippo!

Friends worked with their hands in a multitude of ways. Children worked together in the habitrail area to build a structure using wooden blocks. The structure was so big that a few children fit inside of the creation!

Kinetic sand was made available at the sensory bin. Lately, a few of our older friends have been experiencing with making balls using the kinetic sand and gently throwing them into the bin. They are always amazed when the balls don’t break!

The logs in the corner of the yard are one of our favorite activities. It’s a loose, unstructured play experience where children use their imagination. Today, they moved the logs around and commented on the length and weight of each log as they moved them.

Breakfast– Whole Grain Cheerios with banana.

Lunch– Brown rice with shredded beef, fresh pineapple/banana, and fresh cucumber/carrots.

PM snack– Ritz crackers and homemade caprese salad (using basil from our garden!)

Wee Sprout– Fresh cucumber/carrots.
