Mack and Evie rounded out the week by identifying the verb in a sentence. I read them five sentences and they had to circle the action verb!
K.W.6.1b: Verbs–Writing sentences that include verbs.
In K/PREK1 group, we read ‘The Thankful Book’ which gave us several examples of things that people are thankful for. Once we finished the story, each friend got the opportunity to share what they are thankful for.
In PREK2 group, explored rhyming words. There were several cards that belonged in pairs. Each group member got the chance to match a few rhyming words.

Breakfast– Brown rice cakes with peanut butter and banana.
Lunch– Cheese quesadillas on whole wheat flatbread, fresh pears/banana/cantaloupe, and fresh cucumber/carrots.
PM snack– Goldfish and block cheddar cheese.
Wee Sprout– Fresh carrots/cucumber.
