Good Afternoon!
Evie and Mack counted three different configurations. Once they figured out the total, they circled each group with a certain marker color.
K.NS.5: Count up to 20 objects arranged in a line, a rectangular array, or a circle. Count up to 10 objects in a scattered configuration.
After reading, ‘A to Z Have You Ever Felt Like Me?’ in K/PREK1, we worked together to identify uppercase letters and put them in order. C started by finding the A, followed by Evie who found the B, and so on. There were a few letters that proved challenging and friends were quick to help one another!
K.RF.2.4: Identify and name all uppercase and lowercase letters of the alphabet.
In PREK2, children were asked to pull out a certain color of puff ball out of the group. When they pulled out every puff ball of that color, they had to count how many they had!
Miss Kim set up an activity this morning where children explored chemical reactions. They used baking soda and teal water color. When they added the two together, a chemical reaction occurred where the mixture bubbled up over the test tube!
We enjoyed a second day outside exploring the snow and ice! The fresh air felt lovely!
