Good Afternoon!
‘Animal Balance Game’ was quite popular at the circle table this morning! It’s a fine motor activity that requires patience along with hand/eye coordination. The black balance block rocks back and forth so making sure that the animals are balanced correctly is important. Children show great perseverance when doing this activity!
One of our favorite things to do is walk around with clipboards, writing various things on paper. This morning, two friends came up to a teacher and asked, “Can we make maps at the art table and walk around the classroom with them?”
Once their maps were done, they attached them to a clipboard and proceeded to explore the classroom space looking at their maps.
A few other peers grabbed clipboards and started writing the names of their peers on their paper.
We decided to plant a blueberry bush in our garden this year! Since the weather is warming up, we were finally able to plant it today!
We spent a lot of time outside this morning. James decided to take his chalk and trace the outline of a few of his peers. This led to chalk bodies all over the sidewalk once more friends joined in!
