Good Afternoon. I hope that all of our daddies had a great Father’s Day yesterday!
We began our morning, dancing with the teddy bears to the I’m Going on a Bear Hunt song.
Two of our friends, who are moving up to the pre-school classroom next week, then went over for a visit this morning. The other two friends that stayed in the classroom enjoyed washing some toys. We added a little soap to our water, a rougher textured sponge and a paint brush to clean our animals and Little People. As they were washing them, Emma picked up the horse and said “horse,” and then made the sound, “neigh.” Arthur made the sound of a lion and went “roar.” They had a lot of fun acting out the different animal sounds while getting them all nice and clean.
During outside time, we engaged in play in a big cardboard box from our new refrigerator that was delivered over the weekend. Miss Tami cut shapes to make windows and a skylight for us to enjoy looking out of while playing in the big box.
Breakfast: Whole grain wheat English muffins with butter and cinnamon and fresh oranges.
Lunch: Whole grain wheat pasta with butter and shredded turkey, fresh apples and cucumbers.
Afternoon Snack: Whole milk yogurt and fresh cantaloupe.
Have a fantastic evening!
Rebekah
