Good Afternoon!
This morning several friends sat at the round table working on their fine motor, hand-eye coordination and color recognition skills as they matched the colors of the pop-up people or stacked the circles on the stacker.
Miss Bekah went down into the basement and found bear stamps and three different size bear cookie cutters for us to use in paint. We used the colors green, purple and yellow to paint with our bears to make prints. Some of us chose to finger paint our papers first and then add the bear prints. Miss Bekah shared that our painting creations looked to her a lot like the long wavy grass in the Bear Hunt book.
When we headed outside, the bikes and baby dolls were available for us. Some of us sat our babies on our bikes to ride with us, sat them next to us on the bench or found the paint cup holes of the easel a nice place to put their feet in so they can sit.
Breakfast: Overnight oatmeal and fresh pears.
Lunch: Farm fresh scrambled eggs, toasted whole grain wheat bread with peanut butter, watermelon and sweet potatoes.
Afternoon Snack: Hummus on whole grain wheat tortillas.
Have a wonderful evening!
Rebekah
