Good Afternoon and Happy August!

Monster creations started off our Monday morning! Children used paper towel rolls along with a variety of materials to create their own monster! A combination of feathers, googly eyes, pipe cleaners, crinkly paper, and metal rings were used in the making of our Wee Friend monsters.

The rest of our morning inside was full of laughter and children becoming engaged in activities that sparked their interest.

Once we were outside, children scattered throughout the yard. A group of older boys worked on making their own log house while other friends used the regular log house! The log house is one of our favorite activities as it challenges us. Friends love being up high and shouting down below them.

Breakfast– Whole wheat toast with peanut butter and banana.

Lunch– Whole wheat pasta with marinara sauce and shredded cheese, fresh clementines, and fresh carrots/cucumber.

PM snack– Whole milk yogurt with graham crackers.

Wee Sprout– Fresh cucumber/pepper.
